PIEAS Entry Test 2024
The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) carries out entry tests for BS Electrical Engineering and BS Mechanical Engineering undergraduate programs.You can view PIEAS admission ad 2024 here.

The entry test for PIEAS has the following pattern:
Test Pattern :
PIEAS Entry Test has a total of 100 questions. The test is marked negatively. The score is ' + 3 ' for every correct answer and ' -1 ' for every wrong answer. The answer to the unanswered question is ' 0.' .The total test time is 3 hours. In the test, calculators are permitted.
The entry test for PIEAS has the following pattern:
- 30 mcqs of math
- 30 mcqs of physics
- 20 mcqs of chemistry
- 20 mcqs of English
Overall MCQs = 100
Allocated time = 3 hours.
Criteria for selection of PIEAS:
Selection shall be made strictly on the basis of:
- PIEAS Test of admission - 60%
- Matric of 15%
- 25% F.Sc (Part I)
- 0-Level/A-Level 40% 0-Level IBCC equivalent
Or
Acceptance based on SAT scores:
- SAT II results from three topics (level II Physics, Chemistry & Math)
- It requires a minimum score of 2000.
- The institutional code for receiving SAT scores from PIEAS is 7272.
Eligibility :
Minimum 60% at both Matriculation/O-level (Science) and Intermediate/A-level (Pre Engineering). Also eligible are candidates with pre-medical background who have given additional mathematics paper. Students awaiting their final result, but can also apply for the required percentage of marks to be secured.
